Master Lew Rogers Jr. holds the rank of 5th degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do. Master Rogers has been in martial arts for over 24 years and has won over 68 championships in the years he has trained with his father, Grandmaster Lew Rogers.
Master Rogers started martial arts at the age of six with his father, Grandmaster Lew Rogers and Grandmaster Nate Miller on Euclid and University.
Master Rogers continued training with his father, Grandmaster Lew Rogers through Grandmaster Rogers and Grandmaster Deagelo Sumler creation of Rogers and Sumlers karate academy. Master Rogers learned all that he could and then some under the training and attention of the Grandmasters as they trained vigiorusly with other martial artist including Master Ed Brown and the famous Anthony Price.
Folowing the lessons and trainings in College Hill, Master Rogers joined his father, Grandmaster Lew Rogers as Grandmaster created and started the Underground Karate Academy. Master Rogers earned his Masters Black Belt at the Underground Karate Academy.
Master Rogers is proud to be a representative of the third generation started by the late Grandmaster Thompsen Senior and is a proud member of the National Black Belt Karate Association.
