Mrs Alissa Osborne

Master Alissa OsborneMrs Alissa Osborne (formerly Alissa Schaeffer) holds the rank of 2nd degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do.

Alissa Osborne is a second dan assistant instructor in the National Black Belt Karate Association Foundation. Alissa teaches on a volunteer basis at the Lebanon Branch of the Bethel A.M.E. Schools. Alissa is directly overseen by her mentor, Master Macintosh.

Over the last sixteen years of martial arts training, Alissa has been blessed to study under well qualified and dedicated instructors. Alissa earned her first Dan through Master instructors William and Beverly Sulfsted of the now defunct Lebanon branch of the Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation School. She traces common roots, back to Grandmaster Hwang Kee, the founding father of Tang Soo Do. Master William Sulfsted tested for his second Dan under Grandmaster Hwang Kee and was trained by Grandmaster Ahn during the 1970's, who brought the art over from Korea.

Alissa is a junior high teacher for Lebanon City Schools. She earned her Masters of Science in Education from Walden University and her Bachelor of Arts in Literature through The Ohio State University. She is an advocate for social justice and quality schools for all students and is honored to be associated with the prestigious group of individuals represented within the NBBKAF.
